CHAS - The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme
CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. Sesame Access Systems working processes such as risk assessments, method statements and general practices have been accredited with the CHAS certification.
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
Our project teams are often required to become the main contractor on Sesame installations and the associated works therefore it is a company policy that all of our Project Managers hold the SMSTS qualification. This course trains our managers to become competent Site Managers covering the following areas:- CDM regulations, Risk assessments, Method statements, Scaffolding, Electricity, Excavations, Demolition, Confined spaces and Changes in accepted working practices.
First Aiders
All of our project Managers are Qualified first aiders. A first-aider is someone who has undertaken training and has a qualification that HSE approves.
A Millennium Product
The Design Council has selected the Sesame Access System as a Millennium Product.
The Millennium Product marque identifies the creativity in a company's products and says, very publicly, that the product is forward-thinking and challenging; creative and innovative.
It is an official endorsement recognising innovation and creativity in the product which improves the prosperity and quality of life in the UK.

Independent Living Design Award
The Sesame Access System has won recognition from the Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied Association by being awarded the 1998 Disabled Living Foundation Award.
