Bath seats are positioned lower in the bath than bath-boards and allow the user to be closer to the water. They can be fitted and removed easily to give more room. Our range is varied to allow for different preferences - free standing or suspended seats, handgrips, and seat apertures are just some of the features of our bath seats. This range is complimented by grab rails and bath mats to aid the user in positioning himself / herself in the bath. A bath-board provides a high seating position for those who find it difficult to sit down in the bath. This means that a person can wash themselves whilst sitting on the board, or use it to move down to a bath seat if they prefer to be nearer the water. The main considerations when looking for a bath-board are user weight limit, hygiene, stability, and drainage. We supply a range that covers these areas.

Grab Rails

We provide a range of grab rails with different uses. Fixed and foldaway rails can be installed to provide support around a toilet; grab rails can provide standing support in the bathroom, or in everyday use; bath rails can be fixed to the bath to aid transfer into and out of the bath. All the rails come with pre-drilled fixings but advice should be taken to ensure that the surface to which they are to be fixed is stable enough to maintain the load.

Rails are used to provide stability and support when getting on and off the WC and also when getting in and out of the Bath/Shower area. Grab rails are only as strong as the wall to which they are fixed and the fixings that are used. The correct fixings must be used for the type of wall and where relevant, that the rail is earthed. Fluted rails provide a better grip for wet hands. Fold down rails are useful where space is limited as they can be folded away easily when not required.
