Chair Lift

Normally you would associate a chairlifts with a fold down unit that travels a full flight of stairs in a residential home. A chairlift can also be defined a series of chairs suspended from an endless cable driven by motors, for conveying skiers up the side of a slope. The Sesame however is a chairlift that transfers a wheelchair user over a flight of stairs with a total rise less than two meters.

The wheelchair user does not need to transfer themselves onto a chair to lift them up to the next floor with the Sesame System, they can remain in their wheelchair. Simply apply the brakes and press and hold the lift up button on the chair lift control station.

The controls can be specified by the client, for example, swipe cards, key access even voice recognition technology.
