Pressure Relief Mattresses

This range of Prima Static Pressure Reduction mattresses are specifically designed to cover the pressure care requirements for most patients in the At Risk to High Risk range of developing pressure ulcers. Designed in conjunction with one of the UK’s leading manufacturer’s of pressure relieving sleep surfaces and independently clinically tested in most cases for over 4 years, the Prima range of mattresses represent the forefront of static foam technology.

Proven hydrolysis resistance and real savings. The Esprit HR cover fabric has been subjected to severe laboratory tests which included simulating an environment with high levels of humidity (95% rh). In these tests the air is almost saturated with water and after 12 weeks the traditional two-way stretch covers had perished. After 54 weeks Esprit HR survived in perfect condition, proving a major breakthrough in the defence against hydrolysis and subsequent strike through.
